I've started another one, meant to be quick and summery in colors.
It's going to be triangular, and I started at the top middle with a section of Daisy Stitch. To make it grow, I added a stitch on each side on each row, so that each row began and ended with knit-front-and-back in the stitch. By growing two stitches before starting the next color, you get the nice corner effect of starting with one daisy, then two in the next row, then three, etc.
Here's a slightly closer look.
Then I bound off along the top with a frilly yarn, and picked up on each side of the triangle to being the body of the shawl.
